Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Prayista. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old.

2. Acceptable use

• Do not post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that impersonates another person.
• Do not solicit funds through prayer requests or testimonies.
• Do not scrape, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.
• Treat prayer requests and testimonies shared by others with care and confidentiality.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant Prayista a limited licence to host and display it so the service can function. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

4. Giving

Gifts made through Prayista are transferred to the receiving church less applicable processing and platform fees, which are disclosed before you confirm. Gifts are generally non-refundable. Prayista is not the recipient of gifts made to a church and does not provide tax receipts on a church’s behalf.

5. Prayer sessions

Sessions are provided by ministers of partner churches, not by Prayista. Fees, cancellation and refund windows are shown at booking. Sessions are spiritual support and are not medical, legal, psychological or financial advice.

6. Vale

Vale is an AI companion. Its responses are generated and may be inaccurate. Vale does not replace scripture, pastoral care, or professional advice. Do not rely on Vale in an emergency.

7. Churches

Churches must complete verification and are responsible for the accuracy of their content, their bank details, and their conduct toward members. Prayista may suspend a church account for breach of these Terms.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change over time.

9. Termination

You may stop using Prayista and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prayista is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
