Privacy Policy

Prayista LLC (“Prayista”, “we”, “us”) provides a faith and community platform for believers and churches. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Prayista mobile apps, this website, and the church dashboard.

1. Information we collect

• Account details name, username, phone number, email address and profile photo.
• Faith content you create prayer requests, testimonies, saved quotes, bookmarks and cell notes.
• Vale conversations what you say or type to Vale, and the responses generated, so the conversation has continuity and can check in with you later.
• Giving records amount, type, church and timestamp. We never store your full card number; payments are handled by our licensed payment partner.
• Church verification data for church administrators only: registration documents and identity verification results.
• Technical data device type, app version, crash logs and general usage analytics.

2. How we use your information

• To operate the app: showing your church’s content, your cell, and your prayer history.
• To process giving and prayer session bookings, and to settle funds to churches.
• To provide Vale’s responses, scripture matching and follow-up check-ins.
• To send notifications you have opted into.
• To keep the platform safe, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

3. What we never do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use your prayer requests or testimonies for advertising.
• We do not share your private prayers with your church, unless you post them publicly.

4. Sharing

We share data only with processors who help us run the service hosting, payments, identity verification, analytics and crash reporting each bound by contract to protect it. We may disclose information where required by law.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Sensitive fields are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and logged.

6. Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Giving records are retained as long as financial and tax law requires. You can delete individual content at any time, and deleting your account removes your profile and personal content permanently.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact privacy@prayista.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Prayista is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

9. International transfers

We operate across multiple regions. Where data moves across borders, we use appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date above. Material changes will also be notified in-app.
